Can it be the beautiful weather making me so jolly and glee?, could it be my three wonderful 'all getting along doing quiet colouring' children making me want to cartwheel around the garden singing my heart out?, or is it because I made lemon meringue pie and the meringue came out looking like the ones in cookery books? Nope..guess again? Am I on cloud nine because I hoovered 46 minutes ago and the floor hasn't got a crumb on it yet?, or the bathroom that I cleaned over an hour ago doesn't resemble a shipwreck yet?, or even...that the postman brought my latest amazon delivery????? No to all.
The reason for my jubilations and "Yahooooing", my jumping up and down, clapping like a demented seal and bursts of "Oh what a beautiful morning, oh what a beautiful day" are all because I can finally, at last, after months of waiting...do this...
PHOTOCOPY MY HAND!
We finally got the scanner/copier/printer that I have been craving for months and months and lets face it..months. I promised the kids that the first thing we would do was photocopy our hands. This I thought would alleviate the need for them to copy their backsides! although it would seem from the plotting, double plotting and triple secretive, oh so secretive, plotting that I'm going to have to watch out for that! We threw a newly thrifted apron over their hands to see what it would look like..DS#2 was not amused. He walked off giving me one of many incredulous looks this morning, this is what comes of witnessing deranged excitement!
So, I hope your day is turning out to be as much fun as mine....I've got a lot of playing to do with my new best friend.
